I strongly believe life is better with adventures!
Since 2008 I have redesigned my life to prioritize adventure, enjoying many years on solo trips as well as well as sharing overlanding and van life adventures with companions that I’ve met along the way. Through the Hasta Alaska project and Driving Around The World, I’ve come to realize that adventures are better when shared.
The problem is, (as with life in general,) it can be challenging to find the right person to share those adventures with!

So, let’s see how Tamara fits in. Van Life and the open road have always called to Tamara – so, naturally, we’ve invited her to join Kombi Life for a Brand New Adventure Series😁

One thing is for certain, the road has already thrown many challenges at us during the filming of the Brand New Kombi Life Adventure Series.
Van Life, especially ‘Kombi Life’ can be extra challenging on relationships (ask me how I know!) But, as I’ve always said:
with every challenge comes an opportunity for growth.
We have been documenting the whole adventure story, including being stranded in a remote desert for 34 days in brutal conditions, not exactly the “Welcome to Kombi Life Tamara” we hoped for.

NEW SERIES FAQ
Q) Why do I have to pay (join the Kombi Crew) to watch your videos now?
A) You don’t, we will release all the episodes for free on YouTube and Facebook once we have finished editing season 1. We have always done it this way. If you didn’t realize you are not the only one 😄
Q) You’ve been silent on Socials for months – Why don’t you release your videos now if you have some episodes completed?
A) Great question amigo! Even the Kombi Crew didn’t know the answer to this one! Unfortunately, we have to wait until all the episodes are produced before we can release them. This is because each episode takes multiple weeks to produce and we need to be able to release them consistently on a schedule to ensure the YouTube algorithm will tell you our new video is out. If we release them sporadically there is no guarantee YT will ever tell you about them.
The advantage of this is we can tell better stories over multiple episodes, which makes the Kombi Life videos unique. We release episodes to the Kombi Crew on Patreon and YouTube Channel Members as and when they are completed for early viewing, as a way of saying thanks for supporting our unique series. This means Kombi Crew supporters get to see very early viewing of our videos and real-time bonus videos as we’re working on the content.
Q) When will the new Kombi Life Series be out on YouTube (free)?
A) Spring / Summer 2024 or as soon as possible, we’re currently working on the footage full-time.
Q) What makes you think it is going to be any different this time?
A) The answer to that is for you to discover in the series.
Q) I don’t have much money, can I still join the Kombi Crew?
A) Yes, actually YouTube is offering free channel membership trials if you have YouTube Premium, so look out for that.
